Elder D 1.21.13 letter "..don't shake at doorstops."

Dear Friends and Family,
I love doing what I'm doing what I'm doing now. Serving the Lord Jesus Christ has really brought many blessings to me and those I am around. I find it easier to talk to people about the Restored Gospel. I've asked my Elders to help me by giving me time to talk or (if need be) throwing me under the bus and just let me have some fun. I find that from this I am growing by leaps and bounds. I don't shake at doorsteps. I don't stutter. I say what's needed to be said clearly and astutely. And I make friends everywhere I go now.
Yesterday for my p-day, we played Dungeons and Dragons with a member of Xenia ward. That game is so much fun! I was a dwarf monk and did some damage to an orc and a goblin. I had such a good time playing it. I might want to continue to play when I come home so be ready.
I've written a letter to Bret Baker and I hope that I get some letters from everyone soon. I don't like looking at an empty mailbox. At least send me a letter every week.
Today is supposed to be the coldest day of the year so far. It is 15 degrees outside and if I stay out for too long, I may get frostbite. Today was also meant to be a bike day but the President canceled that as soon as he saw the weather report last night. We have a lot of appointments but about half of them have fallen through already. I kinda thought that this would happen. Thank goodness for back up plans.
Happy birthday to all whose birthdays have passed and to those to come. I may not remember them all but I do send my love. Write me frequently and I will do my best to respond to them all.
Love Elder Ephraim Kade DeCoursey
