Sister D 1.28.2013 ICE ...FROM THE SKY

Dear Home,

Things have been cold here but good. I find that a 20 degree day is a good day and my blood is thickening up. I don't have long to write so this will be short. But I have loved getting the letters from the boys and Dallin Garvey. By the way dallin that stick of gum was super gross! If you don't know, ask him about it. It's a funny story.

We have been doing a lot of teaching and I love every min of it. I have an update on Kristina  ( the baptist girl who is kinda (really) intimidating) In the last couple of lessons I have seen her whole demeanor change where she is very open to hear what we are saying. She just likes to have Bible proof about what we say and she picks apart everything. Which is great. She just wants to know truth. Kristina has told us that she has found so much truth already from her meetings with us and we have a standing appointment every week with her on Saturdays. She is pretty great but still kinda scary.

Love you all. Be safe and warm.

Sister D

Oh and PS.
the other day is was raining ice from the sky. ICE...FROM THE SKY PEOPLE! I had never seen such a crazy freezing looking thing in my life. Pretty different experience here in Minnesota

Emailing with Her, after she wrote her letter.
Sister D
Hi! We weren't allowed to drive until noon and so we decided not to leave until later in the day.

Tracy
How are things with your companion?

Sister D
It...is getting better. I have been way more open about how I feel and that has helped a lot. We are talking more and working on it. Thank you for your response's. I just read them and they will help me as I move on.

Tracy
Your brother in Ohio, had 15 degree weather and they were not allowed to ride their bikes and he was afraid of frost bite. You should email him and tell him to get tougher :-)

Sister D
Seriously!  It was below freezing and all our mission president said was only stay out for 15 mins at a time then go back out in it. Have you not sent any of my weekly emails to the people I had on that list, or did the computer crash before you could?

Tracy
It crashed before.

Sister D
What a bummer.  Please email Peggy for sure here is her email ...... Thank you for sending out the letters from the boys and Maile and Dallin Edmond. It feels good to laugh like I did when I was at home and I always do that when I get those or any letters from home.

Tracy
I've got more post cards to send out. Wait until you see your Uncle Paul's, you may want to get the mail for the next few day.

Sister D
Oh good. Then that should work great.  I love the post cards! I can't wait to see it. I have to go know love you,

Tracy
Love you
